Tecma served as the prime consultant on this $22 million project
- Improvement consisted of:
- Reconstruction and widening of over 4 miles of US 45 from a 2-lane cross section to a 5-lane section utilizing jointed PCC pavement
- Installing new closed drainage system
- Utilizing Lightweight Cellular Fill in lieu of Aggregate Base over soft compressible soils at Washington Street intersection
- Installation of new interconnected traffic signals
- Construction of new overflow ditch for Gages Lake
