Tecma is pleased to announce that it was selected by IDOT to provide construction engineering services for the improvement of I-90 at Foster Ave., Phase III, Cook County. We are also excited to work as subs with Wight and Company and Material Solutions Laboratory on IL 56: IL 53 to I-355 and CMMS Construction/Material Documentation, respectively.
JN C-91-378-19. This project will require the removal and replacement of the Foster Avenue bridge over I-90. It includes the installation of a new center pier in line with the WB I-90 median barrier wall, as well as roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, ADA ramps, intersection channelization, traffic signal modernization, underpass and roadway lighting, drainage improvements, retaining wall repair, and pavement markings.
JN C-91-612-11. Tecma will serve as a sub to Wight and Company on this project. Work will include intersection reconstruction of IL 53 and IL 56 and all roadway approaches to increase capacity, resurfacing of IL 56 from Lloyd Ave. to I-355, median reconstruction, and the addition of turn lanes. It will also involve bridge deck replacement, replacement of some beams and both approach slabs, removal and replacement of existing drainage systems with box culverts, installation of pedestrian accommodations, noise abatement wall construction, and traffic signal modernization.
JN V-91-007-24. Tecma will serve as a sub to MSL on this project. It will involve assisting department resident engineers and technicians with contract documentation services on various construction projects throughout District One. Staff will perform documenting/entering material inspection in CMMS, general construction documentation and project finalization.
